Job Description
About the Role: This role involves coordinating project activities and providing vital information to support project controls and reporting. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and expediting project tasks, tracking costs, updating Estimates to Completion (ETCs) and maintaining project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain project plans, utilizing all available project management tools.
* Prepare work breakdown structures and relevant business system information for contract execution.
* Enhance team interface effectiveness between the engineering and manufacturing groups.
* Prepare cost-to-completion analyses, reports, and any other essential project management information.
* Gather the relevant information to support the project controls and reporting.
* Monitor completion of project tasks through regular communication with project team members and supporting functions, providing support to expedite tasks as needed.
* Problem solve and negotiate priorities within manufacturing through attendance at production planning meetings and regular reviews.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong team player with enthusiasm, drive, and motivation.
* Persuasive and able to negotiate effectively.
* Proficient with PCs and keyboards.
* APM (Association for Project Management) Introductory Certificate is advantageous.
* Experience working in a team-based, multi-discipline development environment.
* Project management or project support office experience.
* Working knowledge of project management tools, including Microsoft Project.
