Job Summary To collaborate with GBS to ensure accurate and timely posting of invoices. To receive and record invoices on to Syteline. Ensure all invoices are authorised before arranging payment. Arrange payment of invoices To record petty cash movements. To carry out month end and year end activities as required. To respond to vendor payment queries as required. To work within the requirements of the company’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems. Specific Responsibilities Ensure timely processing of all vendor invoices according to established process of controls. The expectation is that this role will perform a varying amount of invoice vouchering and supplier query/follow-up on the more complex accounts. Liaise with other departments to ensure any queried invoices are cleared in a timely manner. Payment of invoices by BACS or cheques, and record petty cash movement. Deal with supplier queries by telephone or e-mail. Maintenance of invoice scanning system. Month-end and year-end reconciliations for other general ledger areas as assigned in a team-based closing approach. Regular review and follow-up of supplier accounts as required to ensure accuracy, reasonable aging, and audit support purposes.
