Position – Domestic Heating & Heat Pump Technical Service Support Engineer £50k with bonus
Company – Large National M&E provider with a national team of domestic heating service engineers
Location – Greater Manchester (office based and work from home)
Industry – Domestic Heating, Renewables, Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHP’s, Ground Source Heat Pumps, GSHP’s, plumbing and unvented hot water.
Desired Experience – Air conditioning service engineer, service manager, fault find and fix, PPM's, Planned Preventative Maintenance, Industry Qualifications, Manufacturer Training Courses.
The Role
A leading national mechanical engineering provider seeks an experienced Technical Support Engineer to add to their renewable domestic heating division. The successful candidate will oversee and support their regional team of service engineers on any advanced heat pump technical queries or problems they may have, primarily unvented hot water, hot water cylinders, heating controls, air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps. This is an office based role with over 10 other technical support engineers with various experience in building heating and cooling along with specialisms.
Experience Required
You will have extensive previous hands-on experience servicing, fault find and fix on domestic heating systems ideally, heat pumps. As this is office and home based you must be IT literate and have excellent organisational and communication skills in order to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced team environment. Qualifications that are of benefit would be city and guilds refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems, level 3 plumbing, FGAS, G3 unvented hot water and 18th edition electrical wiring. Furthermore, if you have had specific heat pump manufacturer training whether install or service then this would also be of great interest.

They have a national team of technical service support specialists each overseeing a regional team of heating service engineers and they have extensive experience either hands on and/or through qualifications to ensure their heating service engineers get the very best advice on fault finding and fix situations whether emergency call out or planned preventative maintenance / PPM's.
The Package
Starting salary is from £40,000 up to £50,000 with bonus, however it is flexible depending on the experience of the candidate. Also a generous amount of holiday, increasing after each year of service, healthcare, pension, dental, mobile and laptop.
