Working hours- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday 08:30 - 17:00, subject to change according to business needs.
Location- Our contemporary workspace is based at Lochrin Square in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh.
Salary- From £35,000 per annum - negotiable dependent on experience
Role closing date- 6th December. Interviews to be held in December for a start date in the new year.
What you’ll be doing
* Carrying out capability assessments across the organisation
* Designing blended learning solutions for example, digital, face to face, social collaborative learning, and coaching
* Using digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programmes
* Applying adult learning theories to ensure employees get the best out of their development
* Designing a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioural and leadership programmes, working with external partners where relevant
* Driving a culture of continuing professional development
* Facilitating learning interventions
* Creating a coaching culture in the organisation
* Monitoring how effectively learning has been transferred to employees
* Assisting with any ad hoc projects and tasks from Group Leaders/Managers where necessary
What you’ll need
* Previous experience in a Learning and Development role or similar
* Level 3 CIPD or equivalent L&D qualification (MBTI, Psychometric etc)
* Proficiency in both verbal and written English; fluency in any other EU languages will be a plus
* Strong knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
* Experience in creating and delivering training programs in a corporate environment
* IT proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Positive and forward-thinking attitude, with a diligent and result-oriented approach to work
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions
* Ability to work with and effectively coach a diverse group of team members
* Highly pragmatic, focused on achieving outcomes and impact
* Entrepreneurial and proactively thinking about potential process improvements
