Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities of the Retention Midwife As the Retention Midwife at the Northern Care Alliance, you'll lead the maternity retention strategy and support internationally trained midwives and learners. Your role includes: Providing visible support and guidance Sharing best practices across the Division, Trust, and region Collaborating with Practice Development to ensure regulatory compliance and excellent educational support Contributing to policy development related to placements, preceptorship, and professional development Analysing data to evaluate activity and identify opportunities for improvement You'll also: Drive the implementation and maintenance of the maternity retention strategy Contribute to the specialist midwives' clinical roster Identify innovative solutions to enhance retention Work with stakeholders to implement and evaluate retention initiatives Join us in building a robust, engaged, and committed maternity workforce that delivers exceptional care.
