Principality Building Society is embarking on a period of significant cultural transformation to simplify our business and create capacity for purposeful growth. This is a new and exciting role and is pivotal to our growth and success. As a Workforce Planning Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of an operational workforce planning capability of our people, processes, and technology.
What you will do:
1. Develop and deliver an operational workforce planning capability across the Principality group
2. Identify opportunities to improve organisational outcomes to ensure our people resources are managed more efficiently.
3. Workforce planning and forecasting to cover operational demands
4. Create and maintain accurate staffing schedules to ensure optimal coverage to meet our service level agreements.
5. Oversee the reconciliation of monthly performance across the group
6. Manage design changes to ensure they align with business needs.
7. Forecast all operational demand types and staffing requirements based on historical data, and identify trends and business needs
8. Able to work with a range of stakeholders to develop and implement change.
9. Asist with training and mentoring of all workforce planning colleagues to ensure competency
10. Monitor real time data to ensure all peak activities and shortfalls are monitored and plans in place to ensure service level agreements
What we are looking for:
11. Strong experience in managing workforce planning activities
12. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data & make sound decisions
13. Experience of using workforce management software and tools to forecast call volumes & create schedules
14. Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels and work collaboratively in a team
15. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively in a challenging environment
16. Proficiency in Microsoft excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and data techniques
17. Strong diligence and accuracy, with the ability to analyse date and identify patterns & trends
