Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience using both power and hand tools. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
2. Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
3. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to perform repairs.
4. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
7. Assist in the installation of new equipment as required.
Skills
1. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical systems.
2. Proficient in the use of power tools, including drills, saws, and grinders.
3. Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Good communication skills to effectively convey information regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
