What does it entail?
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Franchise Manager to partially cover a Head of Operations and Franchising role for a 12-month maternity period. This role is essential in supporting franchisees, ensuring continued growth and development whilst supporting internal stakeholders within the business.
As part of the Senior Management Support Team, you will be responsible for the management of 25-30 franchisees. This role focuses on reinforcing existing processes whilst ensuring continued development and improvement of our franchisees. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing teams in Operational Delivery and Operational Finance to ensure the budget is met. There is a possibility of extension when the Head of Ops returns on a permanent basis.
Some of your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Franchisee Engagement
* Implement strategies to improve overall engagement within the franchise network.
* Ensure franchisees comply with the terms of the franchise agreement and operations manual.
* Support the business planning and franchise onboarding process.
* Monitor and enhance franchisee satisfaction levels.
* Support franchisees with planning future investment and development.
* Promote effective collaboration among franchisees to meet operational requirements.
Operational Excellence
* Drive initiatives to improve customer service across all franchises.
* Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational standards of our clients.
* Focus on increasing client satisfaction through operational excellence.
Cross Functional Working:
* Regularly engage with the Operational Finance, Sales Team, Technical Team, and SHEQ Team.
* Align operational output with other departments to achieve cohesive business objectives.
* Work closely with the SHEQ manager to ensure compliance and standards enforcement are met in line with our franchise agreements to maximize satisfaction.
* Ensure timely responses to complaints to enhance customer satisfaction and communicate learning outcomes of the complaint to the franchise network to ensure best practices are shared.
Reporting & Analysis:
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports to be shared with franchisees and the Leadership Team.
* Utilise data analytics to inform decision-making and drive operational improvements.
* Create and share regular Operational League Tables.
* Reporting to the Management team and PLC periodically.
What do we look for?
Experience within franchising and operations within a senior-level role is essential.
Industry experience is preferred; however, alternative industries that are service-based - such as commercial kitchens/facilities management and field service operations - are acceptable.
Strong organisational and operational management skills.
Problem-solving skills and an inquisitive nature.
Adaptability skills able to see the bigger picture as well as the refined detail.
Proven experience in fostering a positive working environment.
