Mechanical Engineer An excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join an established industrial engineering team. This role involves the repair, modification, and assembly of rotational equipment such as industrial gearboxes, pumps, compressors, motors, and other associated machinery. You will support both planned maintenance activities and reactive service requests, ensuring high standards of work and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Strip-down and precise re-assembly of industrial mechanical equipment Carry out planned and predictive maintenance tasks Evaluate the need for spare parts and liaise on procurement Effectively plan and prioritise workload in line with operational demands Ensure optimal use of tools, time, and resources Work in accordance with current legislation, company policies, and procedures Accurately complete and maintain required documentation and service records Maintain a clean and organised working environment Contribute to ongoing process improvements and best practices Communicate requirements with coordinators and key internal stakeholders Adhere to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures About You: Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in a mechanical/rotational discipline ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject is desirable Solid working knowledge of industrial gearboxes and motors Basic electrical understanding is advantageous Familiarity with process pumps, belt and chain drive systems, and coupling applications Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills Comfortable in a customer-facing role with a collaborative mindset Full UK driving licence required How to Apply: Send your updated CV to be considered for this role.
