Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time Location: Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, shift times vary between 0800 - 1900, with participation in the weekend and Bank Holiday rota Your role and responsibilities The role of a Client Care Team Member requires a forward-thinking, articulate and organised individual who works well under pressure. The role involves shift working, with a combination of early and late shifts, on a fixed two-week rota. Occasional weekend and Bank Holiday cover is also required. Previous customer service experience is essential. Reception experience is desirable; however not essential as full training will be given. Duties include: Meeting and greeting clients in a professional, yet sensitive manner Answering the telephone, dealing with queries, transferring calls, and taking messages where applicable Liaising with referring vets and accurately recording details Updating in-house notes system clearly and accurately Coordinating appointments with the animals owners Discussing finances and pet Insurance details Taking card and cash payments Accurately carrying out departmental filing Building good working relationships with colleagues at all levels Assisting with any other ad hoc duties when requested.
