As a Data Centre Digital Sales Person at Chemelex, you will play a pivotal role in our sales and business development efforts. You will be responsible for developing data centre business in Mainland Europe through a digital customer experience. This will drive profitable revenue growth for Chemelex through promoting and implementing effective project sales and growth initiatives with a variety of different contractors, educating them about our industry-leading Raychem products for our solutions in data centre projects across EMEAI. This role is office based and involves minimal travel. Relationships with customers will be created and maintained from distance, expanding virtual customer engagement through a variety of digital channels and supported by digital tools and processes. You are a brand ambassador for Raychem products Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the data centre construction market. Identify and target potential end clients to expand our customer base. Ensure strong collaboration with the specification team to ensure cradle to grave approach across the team. Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio and their applications to provide a high-level technical support and assistance You are always up-to-date about industry trends, competitor products, and new technologies Conduct customer presentations remotely with collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, and others. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market feedback. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends. You have: A keen sales instinct and a high level of commercial feeling, genuine passion for selling and helping our customers succeed. Proven experience in technical sales within the data centre industry would be a benefit. Strong technical competence with strong capability to understand and explain sophisticated engineering concepts. Strong computer and digital communication skills. Salesforce experience is an asset. Prior experience in sales or customer care and a general understanding of the sales processes A positive attitude that focuses on teamwork and getting results Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
