We are looking for an inspiring and dynamic Computing Teacher to join our forward-thinking school in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a commitment to fostering a love for computing, and the ability to teach across KS3 to KS5. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver stimulating lessons across a variety of computing disciplines including programming, digital literacy, and IT theory to KS3 and KS5 students. Develop a comprehensive curriculum that meets national standards and excites students about the potential of computing in their future careers. Assess and evaluate student progress through various assessments, helping students achieve their academic goals. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and independent thinking in computing. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall computing program and engage in professional development opportunities. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching Computing at KS3 and KS5. Strong understanding of national curriculum requirements and assessment frameworks for Computing. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about teaching and empowering students with computing skills.
