Compliance Monitoring & Finance Crime Officer – 8-Month FTC urgent start (Hybrid, or Remote): Retail Wealth Management - Manchester
The Role
Martis Search is representing a UK Retail client focused Wealth Management organisation to urgently hire a “Compliance Monitoring & Finance Crime Officer.” The role is an initial 8-month “Fixed-Term Contract” with the possibility for extension, or even permanent.
The role is based in Manchester and is ideally hybrid, 2/3-days in the office and the rest working-from-home. Our client will also look at “fully remote”, but only for valid reasons i.e. the journey to the office is just too far to travel to (rather than just wanting to work remotely).
The role reports into their “Head of Compliance” and the Compliance is small, so it is an excellent opportunity to learn from such a senior Compliance Manager. You will work closely with the Head of Compliance and expected to work independently on related Compliance tasks, but under their guidance. In addition, they are happy to have weekly 1-2-1’s and an “open door” support policy if you need any help.
The company offer Financial Planning services on one side of the business and also “Investment Management” i.e. Equities, Fixed Income investments for UK Retail based clients.
The company have systems and processes that work well for their business, so ideas are good, but our client is looking for a practical and “hands-on” Compliance Officer who can get on their the “Compliance Monitoring” checks and build a good working relationship with internal stakeholders.
Previous experience using the “LiquidMetrix” Compliance Monitoring system is highly advantageous, or a similar system. Having previous Compliance experience within UK Retail Wealth Management is also highly advantageous.
