The Salvation Army, Sale Corps operates a busy Community Programme, which works to meet the needs of the local community and support the work of The Salvation Army.
We are looking to recruit a part-time cleaner - the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the building is clean, neat & tidy and ready for use while maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Self-motivation, good time keeping, reliability, honesty and integrity are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning, vacuuming, and dusting throughout the building: including ancillary rooms, offices and entrances.
2. Cleaning all horizontal and vertical surfaces.
3. Cleaning toilets, sinks and washing toilet floor
4. Ensuring toilet supplies are replenished
5. Cleaning kitchen surfaces and floor, emptying and cleaning waste bins and removing rubbish.
6. Informing the Community Manager of cleaning supplies needs
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
7. Previous cleaning experience
8. Be able to work alone and use initiative
9. To have knowledge of Health & Safety
10. A willingness to learn and be trained if their experience is limited
11. Ability to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army
