Senior HR Advisor
Bolton, Greater Manchester
Dual role working with both the Bolton and Ashton sites, based at Bolton.On-site role (5 days per week) Full time - 35 hours per week.
£40-£45k depending on experience
Job description:
You are HR professional eager to develop your skills and looking for the next step in your career. As a member of the HR team, you will work closely with the HR Manager and Operations Managers to provide operational HR support in a fast-paced environment. You are a proactive and strategic HR professional with substantial experience in a senior role, a comprehensive understanding of employment law. You will play a crucial role in supporting leaders with training and development, influencing change management initiatives and managing complex employee relations cases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and support on complex ER cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
* Lead and support change management initiatives, collaborating with leaders to ensure smooth transitions and positive outcomes.
* Influence, coach and develop managers in the use of policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
* Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
* Support and guide managers in the performance appraisal process, providing tools and strategies to enhance employee performance.
* Ensure all HR activities comply with current employment law and regulatory requirements, staying updated with any legislative changes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* CIPD Level 5 qualified and a willingness to work towards level 7.
* Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably supporting multiple sites and in a unionised Manufacturing environment.
* Minimum of 5 years HR experience with a strong knowledge of UK employment law.
* English language is a must.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
* Experience in designing and delivering training programs, with a focus on leadership development.
* Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting organisational change initiatives.
* Proven track record in managing a variety of employee relations cases, from investigations to resolution.
