This post will work across South Region so the post holder may be located at any of the regional offices but weekly visits to other offices within South Region will be required.

About the role
The Senior Programme Manager leads the South Region Programming team which is responsible for developing and managing the regional work programmes, such as harvesting, restocking, civil engineering and environment, that ensure South Region can achieve its targets and contributes to wider FLS objectives. The post holder will also support the development of regional strategies such as the thinning programme and responses to climatic and tree health events.
You will line manage a team of four Programme Managers providing support and mentoring, whilst maintaining a strategic view of the programmes. You will negotiate with stakeholders and proactively take decisions to ensure the work programmes continuously enable the business to meet its obligations and targets. With experience of planning and delivering land-management work programmes you will be familiar with the relevant legal and statutory issues.
