DN Colleges Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Animal Management Technician/Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to place learners at the heart of everything we do. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and ensuring the success of our students in the Animal Management programme. Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8am-4pm Pro rata salary Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging curriculum content for Animal Management courses. Prepare learning materials and assess student assignments. Provide guidance, counselling, and support to students to meet their individual learning needs. Contribute to course verification, leadership, and quality assurance processes. Manage the classroom environment and teach on a range of further and apprenticeship education courses. Participate in curriculum development and the use of ICT as a teaching tool. Engage in continuous professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge in your specialist area. Essential Criteria: Industry experience in Animal Management. Relevant teaching qualification or substantial industrial experience (or working towards a teaching qualification). Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification at level 3. Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a lecturing or training role within the Further and Higher Education sector. Knowledge and experience of innovative learning and teaching techniques. Understanding of internal quality processes and procedures. Customer-centred approach with attention to detail.
