The school requires their teachers to be confident, reliable, and knowledgeable. The expectation set out from this "Outstanding" school is that all teachers, staff, and pupils respect one another at all times.
Location: Alcester, B49
Hours: Full time (can be flexible for the right candidate)
Rate of Pay: To Scale (for full time positions)
Start Date: ASAP (After Easter holidays)
Required Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experienced teaching maths in mainstream UK secondary schools
3. Strong behaviour management skills and excellent classroom presence
4. Excellent subject knowledge and curriculum knowledge
5. Awareness and understanding of safeguarding principles
Roles/Responsibilities:
1. Some planning responsibility (where required)
2. Deliver engaging maths lessons to a range of year groups and abilities
3. Differentiating lessons to suit the learning styles of each class
4. Assess pupils' progress and development on a regular basis, providing them with informative feedback
5. Ensure children with special educational needs are receiving the tailored education required to succeed
6. Communicate effectively with colleagues within the maths department
7. Adhere to schools' policies and procedures at all times
