Role: Programme Leader (Progression Curriculum & Inclusion)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Full time)
Salary: £46,014 - £47,598 (Full-time Equivalent)
Location: Cheadle Campus (although requirements across the Group may require cover at other sites)
Employer Pension Contribution: 28.68%
The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Programme Leader to join the Progression and Inclusion Department to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
This is a key role, where the successful candidate will work closely with their team of subject Lecturers, the Inclusion teams, Transition Coordinators, parents, and other external agencies to ensure Progression Curriculum learners experience high-quality teaching and learning to support their journey through course levels within the College, their personal development, and future employment.
The Role
The successful candidate will establish strong partnership working with the Inclusion teams, cross-college curriculum areas, local schools, and parents, providing high-quality courses that support students’ journey into the college and progression into their vocational course of choice.
They will develop a rapport with their curriculum team, students, and their families, carers, and professionals, and promote the College’s values and aspirations for learners to meet their potential and succeed.
The postholder will promote the College’s commitment to excellence in learning, by providing a fully inclusive curriculum offer and have knowledge of working with learners who have SEND, including those who have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Our courses offer a well-established inclusive route towards further study and employment, which includes our alternative provision to re-engage young people into learning, Entry Level Choices, vocationally related courses, and Pre-Supported and Supported Internships.
