The Client
An established and widely known Wealth Management firm servicing Investment Management needs to High-Net-Worth Clients.
The Role
1. The Paraplanner will produce accurate calculations and cash-flow modelling to best support recommendations and is responsible for preparing reports and letters for the Wealth Planners, ensuring the client’s needs are fully supported for the best outcome.
2. The Paraplanner will draft reports and other forms of communication ensuring everything is clear, fair, and not misleading.
3. The Paraplanner is expected to co-ordinate technical documents for client presentations.
4. The Paraplanner will prepare documents as well as complete research for client presentations, including identifying any potential advice to raise with the Wealth Planner.
5. The Paraplanner will be the main point of contact for the team and will take action where appropriate when escalating any concerns or queries that may arise.
6. The Paraplanner is expected to support and encourage all team members to develop their knowledge and skills, as well as motivate and coach when needed.
The Candidate
1. Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
2. Educated to at least A Level/Higher standard (or equivalent).
3. Studying towards Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, with the aim of achieving Chartered Financial Planner status (desirable).
4. Experience in all Financial Planning practices and disciplines including Investments, Pensions and Protection, with experience of dealing with more complex areas of financial planning advice.
5. MC Office/Outlook - Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
6. Experience of XPlan & Cashflow planning software (Desired).
