We are recruiting a Sheltered Housing Team Leader at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 hours per week, 7.24 hours per day
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Ty Penallta/Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

We pay an attractive salary of £34,314 - £37,035 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
We are seeking a Sheltered Housing Team Leader to lead a team of Sheltered Housing Officers across a cluster of Sheltered Housing Schemes. The role will involve ensuring that the team deliver high-quality, person-centered housing-related support to customers, managing the community alarm service, and ensuring that all Building Manager’s responsibilities are met.
The successful candidate will be required to ensure full compliance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation, including setting standard and monitoring performance to achieve continuous service improvement. The successful candidate will also support the Older Persons Housing Manager with the implementation and delivery of change through new and innovative ways of working.
For the role, we ask that you have:
A Relevant Level 3 qualification.
Knowledge of Welsh Government guidelines in relation to the Supporting People Framework, Supporting People Gwent Allowable Activities guidance and funding regime
Proven experience of working in a housing, caring or support related environment
A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings, visit sheltered housing schemes and visit clients.
