The Job Role:
We are delighted to represent our longstanding client as they recruit an Office Manager into their team. The successful candidate as Office Manager will provide efficient administrative support and ensure the smooth running of the office day-to-day.
As Office Manager, the successful candidate will support the Administrative, HR and IT function, as well as liaising with third parties to ensure general procedures and maintenance are up to date. This is a super varied, and fast-paced role that is well suited to experienced Senior Administrators/Office Managers who are looking for a long-term opportunity with a well-established, and highly-regarded business.
Typical duties within this role will include the following; - Supporting the company Directors with Administrative duties - Providing general administrative support to the wider team and management including post and answering emails – Overseeing IT including handling any issues with the server or printer and escalating as necessary – Providing support to the finance team including data inputting using Sage, QuickBooks and Xero – General office procurement including approving stationary orders – Overseeing health and safety and fire safety within the office – Managing general office maintenance including cleaning and repairs – Reviewing and renewing supplier contracts – Maintaining HR records including personnel records, approving annual leave requests and managing the exit process for staff when leaving the business – Supporting Managers with the onboarding of new staff including the setting up of new starters on the IT system, preparing contractual paperwork, and supporting with the induction – Supporting the marketing function of the business including updating the company Instagram account with client news
We would love to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience; - Proven experience working within a senior administrative or office management role – Experience using finance systems including Sage, QuickBooks or Xero (desirable) - Confident using IT including the full suite of MS Office – Exceptional organisational skills – Strict attention to detail – Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively – Sensitive to handling confidential information
