On behalf of our client, we are looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper to join an accountancy firm in the Billingham area on a full-time or 4-day week basis.
Situated within their local offices, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Collation of accounting data from a portfolio of clients – a mixture of SME, Sole trader, and partnership
2. Quarterly VAT returns
3. Bank reconciliations
4. Invoice processing for sales and purchase ledger
5. Trial balance
6. Using Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage
7. Tax returns - for those who have previous experience
8. Liaising with clients and answering any initial questions they may have about their accounts or cloud system
We are interested in speaking with anyone with the relevant accounting experience who would like to join a friendly and relaxed accounting team that can offer plenty of variety by the nature of their diverse portfolio.
Accounting qualifications such as AAT are not required but would be beneficial.
