This Junior TRAINEE role is based in HARLOW in Essex and the company is a global food and ingredients business. You will be given full training in this position that will develop into a logistics and supply chain role. The team is small and friendly too! Job Summary:
Busy role! You will be working in the shipping team which looks after delivery of goods to supermarket and restaurant clients all over the world. In this role you will do the order processing, chase up deliveries with the warehouse, deal with customer issues over the phone and via email, and generally give a first-class customer service to customers who have purchased cooking ingredients. The role is fast-paced and rewarding, and you will be given full training. A fresh graduate or trainee will be considered as long as you are confident in your EXCEL skills. The company will also consider those on PSW visas who have 2 years permission to work in the UK.
Duties:
1. Sales support administration
2. Answer customer enquiries about products and send out samples
3. Update customer information in the database
4. Provide information to customers about the status of their orders and deliveries
5. Organise deliveries and transportation of products
6. Use of Excel daily to track shipments
Sales Admin/order Management:
1. Use of logistics tools on Excel
2. Take and process orders in an accurate manner
3. Prepare delivery documents and issue invoices to customers
4. Keep track of orders to ensure timely deliveries
Responsibilities:
