Quantity Surveyor
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor for our esteemed client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Management - assisting the preparation and management of cost estimates, budgets and financial forecasts for projects.
* General Commercial administration.
* Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in issuing applications for payment, time sheet entry and compensation events.
* Helping with the assessment of subcontract applications.
* Liaison - communicating with other members of the business to ensure a project can be carried out successfully.
Key Skills:
* Excellent levels of communication to ensure all parties involved in a project are aware of what is taking place and work can run smoothly.
* High levels of organization so that costs are managed effectively.
* Great levels of motivation within a work environment to ensure that work is carried out to a high standard.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience/Qualifications:
* Experience in a commercial landscape/experience of commercial administration (preferred).
* Quantity Surveyor Degree (desired but not essential).
Key Details:
* £45 to £55 per hour, depending on experience.
* Long Term Contract.
* Opportunity of hybrid working.
* Based in Moore Row, West Cumbria.
