Here at Northern Community Leisure Trust, our goal is to encourage active, healthy lifestyles in an environment that is safe, warm, clean, friendly, and fun. To be the destination of choice for being part of an active community, whilst helping you to make MORE of every day. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer-focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Gymnastics Coach to join our centre.
Role Purpose:
The main purpose of this role is to assist with the development of the Gymnastics Programme at Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure complex through delivery of planned sessions that promote progression through the programme’s pathway.
You will deliver a professional and fun Gymnastics programme of sport-specific activity and ensure that coaching sessions are suitably planned and developed for all people, including those less able or with specific needs. You will make sure that all guidelines are adhered to, and that the safety and welfare of the gymnasts is always paramount. You will be an ambassador for the way sessions are delivered and in which you conduct yourself.
We share your passion for leisure, and we will offer a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities.
About You:
To be considered for this role, you will hold a British Gymnastics Coach qualification, ideally level 2 or appropriate (however, you will be considered if you are working towards this), have experience in delivering structured coaching sessions, and have high standards of personal delivery, holding participants accountable to those standards while not infringing on the development or enjoyment of the participant.
You will be enthusiastic, resilient, and able to liaise professionally with customers and our coaching team. Lastly, you must also be patient and understanding of the needs of the gymnasts and the centre in delivering the programme.
If you feel you meet the above criteria, then please apply now.
