An exciting opportunity to gain 12 months work experience within a leading global food manufacturing organisation. My client has a 12 month FTC for a Process Development Technologist to be based at one of their key sites in the Merseyside region.
During this 12 month period, you will have numerous development opportunities, working on various projects, shadowing and being mentored by senior stakeholders within Process & Product development. You will also have the opportunity to see and tour other sites within the group, while being regularly assessed to maximize your career development during this contract.
You will also be eligible to apply for any internal roles throughout the group from month 6 of your contract. This role is suitable for experienced UK-based international candidates who have Food Manufacturing experience and a minimum of 14 months left on their visa. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of sponsorship upon completion of this contract.
Salary is up to £45k; this will be a site-based role that will report into the Head of Process Development.
The Role:
In this role, you will be involved in taking an approved recipe through to launch and will be responsible for scaling up, trials, assessing materials, critical path, and maintenance of the internal specification system. You will work with a large number of key internal stakeholders, providing an opportunity to interact on a wide scale, which will enhance your overall knowledge and exposure to large-scale food manufacturing.

The Candidate:
1. Degree qualified or equivalent qualification in a Food Science related subject
2. Must have experience in Process Development, NPD, or within a factory-based Technical role in food or beverage manufacturing
3. Experience with either internal or external specifications is preferred but not essential
4. Highly organised
5. High level of attention to detail
