Exciting Opportunity: Group Finance Manager.
Are you a recently qualified ACA/CA professional eager to make an impact in a dynamic and evolving finance function? We're looking for a talented Group Finance Manager to join our team!
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this role provides the unique opportunity to work across all aspects of Group Finance, collaborating closely with the FP&A teams and senior stakeholders. You'll play a pivotal role in optimising processes, enhancing financial reporting, and ensuring robust financial controls.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise, gain exposure to high-level decision-making, and be at the forefront of implementing key financial reporting changes, including the transition to updated FRS102 standards and the rollout of a new EPM system.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Driving financial excellence - Support the preparation of Audit Committee reports, accounting judgement papers, and conduct in-depth financial analysis.
2. Enhancing financial reporting - Oversee statutory accounts production, annual reports, and technical accounting reviews.
3. Leading key initiatives - Take ownership of aspects of the FRS102 amendments rollout, with a strong focus on revenue and lease accounting.
4. Strengthening controls & compliance - Manage external auditor interactions, evaluate accounting policies, and ensure best practices.
5. Engaging with stakeholders - Work closely with ExCo-level leaders, banking partners, and external advisors to drive financial improvements.
What We're Looking For:
1. ACA/CA qualified, with tier one audit experience or a background in industry (construction experience beneficial but not essential).
2. Strong technical accounting knowledge with expertise in external financial reporting, consolidations, and audit processes.
3. Advanced Excel skills, with a talent for data manipulation and reporting.
4. Experience with IFRS15/16 and treasury functions is a plus.
5. A proactive, adaptable mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous development.
6. Experience with CaseWare is advantageous.
