Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the Corporate Finance and Accounting Function teams to deliver an effective quality service in relation to the Body’s financial activities and governance arrangements.
They will be responsible for all aspects of financial control for SEUPB, including statutory and regulatory requirements, financial reporting, and budget development, together with the Accounting Function within EU Programmes.
Key aspects of the role include:
* Responsible for the development of the corporate and programme budgeting & cashflow management.
* Responsible for the preparation of the SEUPB Management Accounts, Statutory and EU Accounts.
* Responsible for the administration of the SEUPB banking and accounting systems.
* Responsible for the maintenance of financial systems/ledgers.
* Responsible for the supplier payment and payroll processing functions.
* Oversee the SEUPB framework of Governance, Procurement & Efficiency (incl. Audit and Risk Assurance Committee Secretariat).
* Liaison with Government Departments re SEUPB and Programme Finance.
