Location: Dewsbury (Must be living in the UK)
Position: Deputy Ward Manager (RMN / RNLD Qualified)
12 Hour Shifts: Days or Nights or a Mixture available, Subject to availability
Salary: up to £19.15 per hour / £39,847 per year (based on 40 Hours)
Contract: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager to join a leading provider of behavioural care and specialist support services to adults and younger people.
Are you?
An experienced Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD). The service welcomes applications from Mental Health Nurses.
Registered with a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Must have experience as a Deputy Manager in a hospital setting.
Knowledge, Training and Education:
1. Ensure own compliance and compliance of others with regard to mandatory training and professional development requirements.
2. Registered Nurse with current Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
3. Practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct (2002) and other appropriate NMC guidelines.
4. Be accountable for nursing practice and take every reasonable opportunity to sustain and improve knowledge and professional competence.
5. Evaluate situations through information obtained from patients, their families, and other relevant sources.
6. Work closely with the service user to explore issues in a way that increases understanding, insight, and motivation.
7. Identify early signs of deterioration in mental state and behaviour.
8. Support service users to develop skills to self-manage their medication.
9. Engage/re-engage service users with family and friends.
10. Identify service needs and communicate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive services.
