Conveyancing Assistant
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a leading Law firm based in Salisbury working within their Conveyancing department. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Conveyancing Assistant Responsibilities:
1. Dealing with basic enquiries including deeds request
2. Scanning and digitally filling incoming post
3. Procuring title documents from the Land Registry
4. Applying for searches
5. Preparing contract packages
6. Obtaining and uploading information on mortgage platforms
7. Stamp duty land tax form preparation, submission and payment of tax to HMRC
8. Meeting clients
Conveyancing Assistant Requirements:
1. Previous legal experience
2. Previous knowledge of residential conveyancing is essential
3. Strong administrative experience
4. Highly organised
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Ambitious, enthusiastic and a team player
The Conveyancing Assistant role:
1. Negotiable salary depending on experience
2. Monday to Friday
3. Located in Salisbury City Centre
