The People & Culture Associate is crucial in assisting the Head of People & Culture by overseeing operational HR duties, promoting inter-office collaboration, and ensuring a unified approach to global People & Culture initiatives. The Associate manages recruitment, onboarding, and training programs while upholding HR compliance and documentation standards. Serving as a key link between the UK office and People & Culture Coordinators in the US and Europe, this role enhances the alignment of HR practices across regions. By managing daily administrative tasks, organizing cultural and engagement activities, and offering HR insights, the Associate allows the Head of People & Culture to concentrate on strategic goals and organization-wide development. This role is essential in nurturing a cohesive, high-performing, and inclusive workplace culture.
Operational Support
* HR Metrics and Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data (e.g., engagement, turnover, diversity metrics) to provide insights to the Head of People for informed decision-making.
* Compliance and Policy Maintenance: Regularly review and update UK-specific HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and global standards.
Global Coordination
* Inter-Office Collaboration: Coordinate with People & Culture Coordinators in Europe & US on processes and best practices, ensuring consistency while considering local laws.
* Global Initiative Execution: Work with the Head of People to coordinate and monitor the implementation of global initiatives, including training programs and engagement campaigns.
Recruitment and Onboarding
* Understand Recruitment Needs: Meet with managers to understand their recruitment needs.
* Oversee Recruitment Campaigns: Manage UK recruitment campaigns, from job postings to interview scheduling.
* Refine Onboarding Frameworks: Partner with hiring managers to refine onboarding frameworks for different roles and ensure uniformity across offices where applicable.
Cultural Integration
* Foster Collaboration: Organize initiatives to promote collaboration between UK, Europe, and US teams, fostering a unified company culture.
* Cross-Office Events: Assist in planning and executing cross-office events, including virtual team-building activities.
Training and Development
* Training Hub Development: Develop a training hub as directed, ensuring local teams receive tailored development opportunities.
* Post-Training Feedback: Monitor feedback after training sessions to adjust future sessions and address any gaps.
Risk Management and Documentation
* HR Records Maintenance: Ensure accurate and timely updates of HR records for all UK staff.
* Operational Risk Identification: Proactively identify operational risks, particularly in areas like data protection and recruitment, and suggest mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Experience – Essential
* Proven and solid experience in HR operations or administration.
* CIPD Level 3 qualified as a minimum
* Familiarity with global HR practices.
* Knowledge of UK employment law.
* Strong organisational and data-handling skills, with a focus on compliance.
* Proven recruitment and onboarding experience.
* Effective communicator with experience coordinating across teams.
* Confident HRMS/HRIS user.
