Job Description:
9-Month Contract with a Public Services organisation based in Belfast.
In this contract job you will support the Finance Corporate Services Manager and HR Advisor as they source, procure and project plan for the implementation of IT systems and related policies and procedures.
Summary of principal duties and responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and procurement of HR IT systems.
2. Evaluation of development needs, oversight of development, implementation and testing, when required in respect of finance and HR IT systems.
3. Resolution of technical issues to prevent loss of functionality.
4. Oversight and maintenance of Data Integrity with regular checks and documented audit trail.
5. Ensuring systems are implemented to facilitate my clients' Records Management Policy, and Retention and Disposal Schedule, and overseeing the appropriate archiving and destruction of records.
6. Assisting in the preparation of training documents and video resources in addition to facilitation of training sessions, mentoring, and supporting teams and staff on new and evolving processes and application of IT systems.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Experience:
1. A minimum of 1 years’ experience implementing new information systems in an organisation, integrating with or replacing processes or systems.
2. Use of financial and HR computerised systems.
3. Design and extraction of reports from IT information systems.
4. Experience of public sector procurement processes.
5. Project management experience including milestone and target setting, monitoring and reporting.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA

1. Project Management Qualification.
2. Experience of use of SAGE accounting package(s).
