We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Enrichment and Sports Coordinator. This role is part of the Student Services department, reporting to the Head of Student Services. The Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for devising, developing, and leading programs of activities, clubs, trips, and societies to inspire, motivate, and engage students and apprentices.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality support for students, aligning with the mission, aims, and strategic objectives of the College. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities, health and safety, and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver enrichment programs for students and apprentices, engaging learners in activities that develop social and emotional skills, social action, student leadership, and student voice.
- Support the Head of Student Services in developing an enrichment program, gathering feedback from students and staff to enhance the offering.
- Positively engage with students across the college, delivering clubs and societies, and leading/supporting cross-college activities.
- Communicate effectively with students about available opportunities, utilizing both online and physical resources.
- Maintain accurate data and ensure all participation is recorded in the required monitoring systems.
- Contribute to the work of the safeguarding team and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with external organisations and stakeholders to enhance the enrichment program.
Essential Criteria
- A degree in youth work or a similar area.
- A good level of education at level 3 including literacy and numeracy at level 2.
- Experience of motivating and engaging young people in an educational or community setting.
- Experience of leading and coordinating a range of opportunities for young people
- Ability to organise and coordinate events and activities.
- Ability to work with internal and external partners.
- Experience in communicating messages clearly and effectively
- Experience of work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to enthuse young people.
- Able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Promotes a safe environment for children, young people and vulnerable adults to learn in
