Main duties of the job
To provide support to the multi-professional team by undertaking appropriate duties following assessment and planning of requirements by a registered nurse. Additionally, to provide support by undertaking non-nursing and ancillary duties.

Job responsibilities
1. To promote and deliver patient-centered care aligned with the Trust vision and Nursing and Midwifery strategy.
2. To provide the highest standard of safe, effective, and compassionate care through the effective use of evidence-based practice.
3. To support a continuously improving service, in line with the clinical governance framework, Trust objectives, and the NHS performance framework.
4. To continually develop professionally to ensure the post holder has the appropriate level of skill, knowledge, and competence to meet service/specialty requirements.
5. To help maintain a clean and safe department.
6. The overall purpose of the post holder will be to provide support to the nursing team.

Experience
* Recent relevant experience in health care.
Knowledge
* Ability to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate quality care.
* Ability to meet basic care needs.
* Ability to escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
