Nuvia is expanding its consultancy team and is looking for individuals interested in joining the development of the Systems Engineering capability. This will entail supporting our internal engineering department projects or working alongside our customers with their own contracts and challenges.
Candidates can be based at either our Harwell or Warrington office, with hybrid working available.
You would be embedded within the Nuvia Consultancy team reporting to the Systems Engineering manager who will provide support to both personal development and project delivery. We are looking for individuals who are looking for the opportunity to gain responsibility for their own independent delivery and obtain the associated development benefits and advancement working in a consultancy environment.
Occupational Skills and Knowledge:
* Working at a principal grade or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience.
* Degree qualified in a technical discipline or demonstrable experience.
* Working towards, or already obtained chartered status.
* ASEP or CSEP qualified or member of INCOSE is desirable.
Duties and Requirements:
Systems Engineering Specific:
* System Architecture definition.
* Interface Management.
* Requirement specification production and management.
* Requirement compliance and verification management.
* Operating requirements management database software.
* System modelling of architecture, interfaces, functions (MBSE)
* Supporting the training and process development of the systems engineering discipline.

* Previous experience of working within highly regulated industry.
* Working with mechanical, electrical, process and civil systems.
* Support development of designs to satisfy the technical specification.
* Contribution to design reviews and safety reviews.
* An understanding of safety requirements and compliance with legislation and regulation.
* Level of commercial awareness.
