This is a diverse and varied position, demanding exceptional organisational, communication and multi-tasking skills. As the first point of contact in the school, the successful candidate will provide a professional and courteous welcome to adults and pupils alike. They will be able to adapt to the many demands of the role and this will include, but is not limited to;
* General reception duties, such as greeting parents and visitors, and efficiently managing parent, pupil, staff and visitor queries;
* Completing the school registers;
* Maintaining the school newsletter;
* Providing first aid as appropriate;
* Organising trips and associated payments;
* Adhering to the school’s safeguarding policy and appreciation of confidentiality and GDPR requirements;
* Various administrative tasks to support the wider admin and leadership teams.
The successful applicant will have a flexible and adaptable approach, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Salary: £11,092 to £11,659 actual per annum (Scale Range 2-3 £23,886 - £25,107 FTE).
Contract: This is a permanent contract.
Hours: 20 hours per week, 8.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday.
