Our Clinical Nurse manager, clinical lead, and the other nurses on duty are always available to help (on every night shift are two nurses for our 40-bed unit). About you: Registered General Nurse/ Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse/ Registered Mental health Nurse with a valid NMC pin (minimum 3 years) Strong clinical skills A professional, friendly attitude Quick learner, able to implement our staff values within the team Motivated and enthusiastic on mentoring and coaching all the staff Drive and focus to provide excellent customer service and quality of care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience and an up to date understanding of care service practices, legislation, regulations and standards Responsibilities Maintaining accurate, complete healthcare records and reports Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments Recording patient vital signs and medical information into Predicaire system Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions Administering non-intravenous medications Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses Hours Night RGN - Full time - 40 hours/4 shifts per week (including weekends). Shift 21:30 - 08:00am 1 full time vacancy available only (40 hours per week) About Your benefits: Salary - The rate of pay per hour now is £19.68 (Mon-Fri) with a 20% enhancement at weekends £23.62.
