About The Role: The Manual Machinist is responsible for machining white metal components parts in accordance with customer specification in line with company standards. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include: Conventional turning to produce high precision parts to customer specifications Able to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings Ability to use measuring equipment Correctly position the component into the machine, using lifting aids as required Carry out the machining in accordance to the components route card and technical drawing Check your own quality as you work, measuring first-offs before proceeding with any additional machining with hand measuring equipment such as venires and micrometres Candidate Requirements: Previous turning experience is essential Milling experience is beneficial Educated to Engineering Apprentice level or equivalent is essential Previous experience within the manufacturing industry is essential Ability to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings is essential Manual Handling Training and overhead crane experience is essential Good written and oral skills Must have proven team-working skills Company Benefits: Company pension Free parking On-site parking Private medical insurance If you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration.
