This role offers an exceptional opportunity to advance into a Managing Director position within the UK, overseeing the entire business in due course. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in working within a genuine SME environment (turnover of £2m - £10m) and possess hands-on experience with sales operations beyond the UK. This position is essential in supporting our company’s continued growth and market leadership domestically and globally. A background in the manufacturing industry, especially in component services or solutions, is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies that drive global sales growth, profitability, and market expansion. Lead the achievement of both short-term and long-term business goals aligned with the company’s overall strategic vision. Provide strategic leadership that steers the company towards sustained success and future growth. Improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and financial performance. Implement advanced reporting tools to monitor and analyse key performance indicators. Oversee budgeting processes to ensure sound financial planning and control. Conduct market research and trend analysis to uncover new opportunities and meet evolving customer needs. Inspire and lead a team of senior managers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Develop and nurture strong relationships with key industry players and stakeholders, raising the company’s profile through effective networking and engagement. Oversee business operations in both UK and international markets, ensuring strong partnerships with all stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred. Demonstrated success in a senior global sales leadership role, ideally with experience in an SME environment. Significant experience within the manufacturing industry, with a preference for those with a focus on components or solution-based services. Strong track record of implementing strategies that drive sales growth and expand market share. Excellent strategic marketing and business development skills with a focus on customer acquisition and retention. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels. Strong expertise in strategic planning, business development, and building professional networks. Proven ability to lead within complex, high-stakes business environments.
