Location: We have a vacancy for a Risk and Control Engineer to join the Wastewater Service Delivery Business Unit within our Asset Management department at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you? This role will be covering the Yorkshire region, your base will be determined by your home location.
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

The Asset Management department are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
Where you fit in:
As our Risk and Control Engineer you will:
* Lead and drive excellent standards and behaviours in health and safety, risk management, and the control of work activities.
* Develop sustainable solutions to immediate operational risks.
* Work closely with front line teams to ensure the local funding options are exhausted before progressing through PROAMS.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
* Understands Health and Safety legislation, policies, and requirements in relation to the sewer network.
* Expert knowledge of sewerage system assets, common failure modes, and solutions.
* Knowledge of company Quality systems.
* Knowledge of regulatory measures, particularly Pollution, Internal/External Flooding, and CMEX.
* Evidence of the ability to drive projects through to completion.
You will also benefit from having:
* Outline understanding of the E&M aspects of the network.
* Outline understanding of the pumping and treatment processes.
