Team Manager, Care Experienced Team, Merseyside
Role Overview:
Pertemps is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead, develop, and manage a Personal Advisors Team within the Care Experienced Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality services that address the needs of care-experienced young people, leading to improved outcomes while ensuring value for money and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Personal Advisors supporting care-experienced young people.
Ensure service delivery meets statutory obligations and supports young people in achieving positive outcomes.
Oversee resource allocation and decision-making for operational matters.
Develop and implement best practice models to improve service quality and effectiveness.
Provide supervision, coaching, and professional development for team members.
Work in partnership with multi-agency teams, local services, and stakeholders to ensure seamless support for care leavers.
Monitor and evaluate performance, outcomes, and service effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement.Key Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.
Previous management experience within a Leaving Care, Children’s Social Care, or Personal Advisors Team.
Strong knowledge of legislation, policies, and best practices related to care-experienced young people.
