Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of projects for various clients, undertaking control, instrumentation and electrical works including installation, testing, commissioning, and fault finding within new and existing MCC's, industrial instrumentation, analysers, motors, actuators and all other equipment used in automated control systems associated with our products and those used by clients in Water, Chemical Dosing and Petro-chem industries.
This position will require flexibility on working location, with accommodation provided by RSE.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a flexible approach to resourcing all commissioning requirements of various projects
* To support the project team by developing commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programmes, method statements and risk assessments
* Monitor standards to ensure specification compliance and quality standards are strictly maintained
* Attend FAT activities and provide constructive input with regards to system controls
* Carry out commissioning of LV Electrical systems, Instrumentation and Control Systems including MCC's and associated field equipment
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, line diagrams and P&ID's
* Complete SAT and Asset Start-up
* Complete commissioning documentation
* Participate in HAZCOMM activities for various projects as required
Requirements:
* Educated to HND/HNC level in Electrical/Instrumentation or equivalent
* Proven Mechanical & Electrical experience – full commissioning phase experience (installation, dry, wet, process testing)
* Previous experience holding SAP or AP position and of PTW systems
* Experience of MCC's including VSD's, Softstarts and Flow, Level, Pressure and Temperature instrumentation
* Experience in executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for clean and wastewater projects on both new build and retrofit sites
* Experience in FAT, SAT testing and fault finding
* Experience in telemetry end to end testing
* Profibus, Installation and Commissioning Certification
* Flexibility for location of work and out of hours working as required by the Company
* Full UK Driving Licence
