What You'll Do As our Senior Buyer, you'll: Manage the full procurement lifecycle for the site ensuring all spend aligns with group policy. Drive cost reduction, productivity improvements, and supplier performance using a Total Cost of Ownership approach. Lead supplier negotiations and contract implementation to secure the best value. Collaborate closely with key departments to identify future savings opportunities and support strategic business goals. Monitor KPIs including OTD, PPM/NCR, and cost-saving metrics. Support CO2 reduction targets through supplier emissions data and sustainability planning. Evaluate new suppliers and manage risk, including financial stability assessments and supplier audits. Forecast inventory needs and support budget planning and monthly spend reporting. What Were Looking For Youll bring: 5 years of purchasing experience, ideally in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of MRP systems and direct/indirect material sourcing. A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience working in cross-functional and international teams. A degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field (preferred). Professional purchasing certification (preferred).
