A Superb opportunity for an experienced White Goods / Domestic Appliance Service Engineer to join an independent and well respected company \n\nWe are currently actively seeking an experienced service engineer. In this key role you'll ensure electrical domestic appliances are repaired and serviced in line with our high standards and health and safety regulations. As a representative of the company, you'll be responsible for offering a comprehensive and efficient service to our customers.
Bags of initiative and a flexible, proactive approach are essential for this role. You must have experience diagnosing and repairing domestic appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, cooking and laundry products.\n\nYou will be working in customers' homes within the East Midlands area fault-finding and repairing a wide range of domestic appliances completing approx. 8-9 calls per day dependant on area size.
Products will include dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, microwaves, hobs, cooker hoods, fridges and freezers.\n\nRequired Attributes:\n\nThorough and up to date knowledge and qualifications.\nAbility to use technology effectively.\nGood communication and customer service skills.\nMinimum 3 yeas previous experience working as an appliance Field Service Technician.\nGood diagnostics skills with evidence of fault finding and repair of domestic appliances.\n2nd line refrigeration (R600) would also act as an advantage to your application but training can be provided.\nExperience working across a variety of branded products e.g. Bosch, Beko, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, Glen Dimplex, Miele, Electrolux etc.\nA Full clean driving licence.\nIdeally have electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 224 Consumer Electrical and Electronic Servicing, City & Guilds 2365 Electrical Installation, 17th Edition etc.) \n\nKey responsibilities\n\nEnsure that all paperwork is up to date and correct\nInspect job sheets closely to identify key parts that maybe needed to complete calls.\nCollect parts that are to be fitted for day's calls.\nEnsure that van stock is always up to date.\nEnsure that vehicle supplied is clean and presentable to enforce the company's image and carry out routine maintenance checks.\nPlan your route in the most efficient way taking notes of times printed on job sheets.\nBe polite and courteous to all customers.\nEnsure that work is of a high standard to encourage repeat business.\nClean up any mess caused from the work carried out at the customer's property.\nAim to complete as many calls as possible on the first visit.\nWear company uniform provided at all times. \n\nAbout Us:\n\nWe are a company constantly growing, with big ideas for the future.
