Overview Of The Role
You will be working both within a hostel setting and, depending on the assignment, out in the community. You will support those at risk of homelessness, those suffering with their mental health, those struggling with substance misuse, or even ex-offenders. You will be responsible for ensuring their safety, as well as your own and the staff around you. Whether they need emotional support, help applying for housing benefits, or just someone to talk to, you will be there to support.
Required Experience
As this is a temporary role, and usually providing last-minute cover, you will be expected to hit the ground running. Previous experience working with vulnerable people within a similar setting will be essential.
