Senior Project Manager - IT & Procurement (Outside IR35, 6-Month Contract) What is the role about? We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical RFPs for airline / travel industry specific technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, and timelines. This role involves working closely with senior stakeholders, procurement, and IT teams to drive vendor selection and contract negotiations for: Experience in aviation, travel, or holiday industries is highly desirable. What will I be doing? Leading strategic IT and procurement projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Managing end-to-end RFP processes, including vendor selection and contract negotiation. Defining project scope, governance, and risk management frameworks. Establishing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for vendor performance. Working with procurement, legal, and finance teams to ensure compliance. Leading a high-performing Senior Business Analyst and ensuring resource planning. Engaging with key business stakeholders to secure buy-in and project alignment. What do we need from you? Proven experience in project management within IT, procurement, or technology-driven environments. Strong RFP and vendor selection expertise, including contract negotiation. Excellent stakeholder management skills, influencing senior leadership. Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, MSP, Prince2). Industry experience in aviation, travel, or holiday technology projects (preferred).
