We are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our well-established client in Ashford, Kent. The successful candidate will undertake proactive and reactive electrical maintenance activities as well as other tasks, to ensure the optimum performance of the foundries. Key Responsibilities: Promote high Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs to existing heavy machinery, potentially installing new plant Repairs - Fault finding on electrical motors, 3-phase, inverters, sensors Mechanical: belts, bearings, chains, pneumatics, hydraulics Work with all functions and build effective working relationships Essential Qualifications & Experience: Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship (L3) in Engineering Maintenance (Electrical), Electrical Installation, mechanical or equivalent. Maintenance experience and fault diagnosis of Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems Basic continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge Candidate must be able to use hand tools.
