To be an integral member of the Therapy teams, assisting in the delivery, management and treatment of children referred to the service. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the clinical teams with non clinical activities including but not limited to, patientadministration, stock review and ordering. To support in the sending out of therapy programmes, equipment and reports to local services and families. To participate in the delivery of assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, aqua therapy and exercise, planned and agreed with the therapist, providing on-going liaison and reporting any changes or developments in the patients presentation to the therapy, nursing or medical staff, as indicated. To assist with recording of statistics and development of audits of the therapy service. Contribute to and maintain therapy database, under the guidance of Therapy staff. To process referrals and prepare records as required. Supporting clinical teams across in and outpatients, providing children with health and wellbeing advice. To monitor and maintain condition and cleaning of equipment, in accordance with departmental policies. To monitor levels of equipment and order as required, ensuring that stocks are maintained and stored appropriately Please see attached job description and personal specification for more details.
