What you’ll be responsible for
The Senior Technical Analyst is responsible for implementing, configuring, governing and evolving the technology portfolio. This is a proactive technical role and the successful candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and a desire to learn new technologies. The role includes several BAU tasks in supporting multiple areas of the business. Some of the duties will include:
1. To be responsible for the underlying technologies in use to deliver desktop services and the inherent supporting toolsets.
2. Provide high level technical expertise and specialist knowledge for all related desktop infrastructure, specialising in at least one of the identified areas of responsibility.
3. In collaboration with ITS Lead Technical Architect and other Senior Technical Analysts, be responsible for ensuring that the implementation of all new and existing technologies meets the design requirements.
4. Ensure security updates and system patches are maintained for all underlying desktop service systems under your responsibility.
5. To work closely with vendors to determine and produce a technical roadmap and support lifecycle for all desktop systems within our environment highlighting risks.
6. To assist with the training of technical analysts in the desktop infrastructure team to deliver a high standard of knowledge and customer service.

About you
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. A strong technical background is required with good knowledge and skills in terms of supporting one or more of the following technologies: Active Directory / PKI and Cert management / Endpoint Detection and Response / Azure Security products / PowerShell scripting/ Azure Active Directory.
2. Azure certifications (SC300, AZ104) is desirable.
3. Proven experience of actively supporting IT systems.
4. Proven experience of actively supporting Active Directory/AAD.
5. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and a proven track record of working with businesses.
